Network+ certification is a vendor-neutral IT certification. It is aimed at Network engineers and/or administrators that want to gain more credibility in order to achieve better employability and higher pay. The CompTIA Network plus Objectives define the exam content and can be found below.

To become a Network+ Certified Network engineer you have to pass Network+ Exam N100-007. The exam covers management, optimization, troubleshooting of enterprise and local Networks. The recommended prerequisite for this exam is 9 – 12 months of experience in the field plus either being A+ certified or have equivalent knowledge.
